I know it is Thursday and the weekend is almost here, but I am still in last weekend’s relaxation mode. It is so wonderful to take some time off away from computers, cellphones, TV, and all of those gadgets that we love, but sometimes take away from family time.
This past weekend was all about nature and family. There was climbing, swimming, relaxing. It was fun.
so, I came up with this sketch, I thought I was careful with the details, but looking at the dress you’ll see something missing.
oops! I forgot two other cut outs. So, what to do?
Make another dress!! I added the cut outs and didn’t add the sleeves. I like the result 🙂
Since most of you liked the long version I decided to stick with that, but I added more lines to the front of the dress to give more emphasis to the waist.
I also used shirring on the back , again to emphasize the waist and for comfort. The dress has a slit on the side to show off some legs and no zipper for easy wear.
It passed the rain test; lets see how it holds through the summer.
